The direct pre-pairing between the hub and the sensor ensures seamless setup. When the hub successfully connects to Wi-Fi for the first time, the water leak sensor is already connected by default.

The water leak detector is designed to address various areas prone to leaks, such as the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, and basement. The sensor's strategic placement can detect water seepage and leaks in a timely manner, preventing potential damage to your home and valuables.

The detector offers three adjustable volume levels: high, medium, and low, allowing you to customize the alarm volume to suit your preferences. Additionally, you can quickly cancel the alarm through the buttons on the hub or the app.

The water leak detector can accommodate up to ten sensors, making it easy to expand the coverage and monitor multiple areas simultaneously. Replacing the battery is also a straightforward process, requiring a gentle turn of the sensor's shell.

The water leak sensor utilizes the conductivity of water to detect leaks. When the two probes touch the water simultaneously, a current loop is formed, and the sensor reports the water immersion or leakage status to the hub, triggering the alarm.

In case the hub does not sound an alarm after detecting water immersion, users should check whether the alarm switch of the sub-device is turned on in the app. If it is not enabled, only message push and logging will be available.

Reasons for the water leak sensor going offline include the device being too far from the hub, low or dead battery, or interference from a metal surface. To reconnect the sensor, users should follow the proper device-adding method, move the device closer to the hub, or address any overload issues with the hub's sub-devices.

The water leak detector is designed to trigger an alarm when the detected water level reaches a height of 2mm. By connecting the hub to Wi-Fi, users can remotely monitor for water leaks in real-time on the mobile app, even in the basement, with a range of up to 100 meters (2.4GHz Wi-Fi support only).
